Of course, I'll go ahead and experiment to see what works best for me but I'll be looking for what preserves the material more as well.
...Besides, like I said, it's very subjective, anyways. Digital art will give things a cleaner look, but who says that's what everyone wants? I love pixel art, for instance. Which is digital, yes, but that's irrelevant at the moment. I find beauty in its limitation.
